AYS&B has a long history of travel softball and in 2023 we proudly introduced our travel teams under the name Altoona Steam. The inaugural season of the Altoona Steam travel teams was a resounding success, marking the beginning of an exciting journey.

If your daughter aspires to elevate her softball experience to a more competitive level, Altoona Steam is the ideal progression beyond our standard Spring league play. For those interested, we offer travel teams in older age groups, participating in 4-5 weekend tournaments during the summer with additional weekly practices. Please note that there is an extra cost associated with joining these teams, and tryouts may be required based on participation and interest. We eagerly anticipate the continued growth and success of the program in coming seasons!
