AYS&B Rules

 

The rules for our Rookies, Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors divisions are put together and maintained by AYS&B.  For all other levels, AYS&B follows the rules of Eau Claire Babe Ruth and the Chippewa Valley Girls Fastpitch League (CVGFL).

Softball Rules

Triple PLAY Fall Ball Rules

 

The rules for our Coach Pitch, Minors, and Majors divisions are put together and maintained by AYS&B and based on our Spring league rules.  For softball, we are using a modified version of the Chippewa Valley Girls Fastpitch League (CVGFL) rules.

AYS&B Baseball Bat Rules

If your bat does not feature the USA Baseball stamp it will not be allowed for use in league play. Big barrel bats, up to a 2-5/8" barrel that feature the new stamp will also be allowed.

Effective January 1, 2018, with the exception of the -3 bat (BBCOR certified), all other 2-1/4” and 2-5/8” minus factor bats (-5, -7, -8, etc.) must be certified with the USABat licensing stamp on the bat in order to be used for league and tournament play. 2-1/4” and 2-5/8” minus factor bats (-5, -7, -9, etc.) used in 2017 will be illegal to use.

Special note for Babe Ruth Players: 

  • USABat and BBCOR bats are allowed.
  • Maximum weight differential for USABat stamped bats is -5.
  • USSSA stamped bats are not allowed.
